There are ways to data drain and not use twilight bracelet, Eternal-san. If you use Avatar then you don't need twilight bracelet.

Right. In .hack// Infection Aura also gives Kite the bracelet. First the bracelet was a book and when he saw the virus. The book react and turns into a bracelet. Then his character 's outfit color change. At first his character's outfit color is green but 'cuz of the book the color change into orange. Basically there's no bracelet just a book.
